Dr. Nicole McCauley is an energetic and patient-first chiropractor and a powerhouse within the industry. Her passion for chiropractic care, community wellness, and global sustainability are far-reaching and her influence is international.
In recent years, Dr. McCauley has led two innovative pediatric and perinatal focused practices. Dr. McCauley is the only pediatric and perinatal chiropractor within 250 miles of Springfield, Missouri. Her patients will travel great distances to see her for her tenacity, compassion, and expertise.

Anna Faucett, LPN, IBCLC
Anna is the mother of five. Her passion for lactation began in 2000 when she attended her first La Leche League meeting with her six weeks old baby. Anna became an LLL leader in 2002. In addition to earning a Master’s Degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management and an LPN, Anna became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2020. In addition to Breath of Life, Anna also works at a local hospital.
Dr. Gabriel Straus, DC
Dr. Straus has joined the Breath of Life team as our re-exam doctor. Dr. Straus was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University and Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Missouri State University. Operating as a Holistic Primary Care Physician, Dr. Straus has been trained in Functional Medicine, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Applied Kinesiology, and in several courses by the Barral Institute. Dr. Straus has also completed the coursework to become a diplomate in internal medicine (DABCI) and is working towards board certification. With this body of knowledge and skills, he approaches issues from a holistic perspective and is capable of supporting patients structurally, nutritionally, and emotionally.
